Lemon Diet/Master Cleanse: Is it safe? Does it work? Any cons?

I'd like to detox, and have been told about the lemon Diet/Master Cleanse (drinking lemonade made from lemons, maple syrup, water and cayenne pepper). Not eating anything for 10 days (minimum) scares me a little! Is it nutritionally sound? Can it be damaging or dangerous? Has anyone DONE it? I'm looking for both positive and negative reviews.Lemon Diet/Master Cleanse: Is it safe? Does it work? Any cons?
my dad and sister recently did this and it was great for them. they got rid of all they crap in their bodies and felt so much better! they lost about ten pounds. my dad gained it back because he didnt want to lose any weight (he used more syrup to gain less weight) but my sister kept it off. it has great results and pros in all areas of life. my dad said a con was that he was tired from not being able to drink coffee. so if you are a regular caffeine drinker, i suggest slowly taking in less in the few days leading up to when you plan on beginning the cleanse. they say that they plan on doing it again. by the way, they planned on doing ten days but ended up doing 11. try reading a couple books on it, thats what they did and it really helped them make a decision and specialize the cleanse to their bodies. i highly recommend reading books on it, they have TONS of information and stories from people who have done it. good luck!Lemon Diet/Master Cleanse: Is it safe? yes lots of people have done it. i does not make it healthy. alot of celebrities use it as a quick weight loss fix cause they usually gain it back right away. i mean you need protein and stuff i just dont think its very healthy. i would google the cons of it.
